In the stock exchanges in Tokyo and Osaka, 売買高 and 取引高 both refer to “trading volume.”
The Japanese terminologies are used differently between Tokyo and Osaka; in Tokyo, 売買高 is a broad category, which includes 売買高 for stock and bonds and 取引高 for derivatives.
Osaka does not have such a broad category – just 売買高 for stock/bond and 取引高 for derivatives.
